There are mainly two runes-rows that were used in Scandinavian, the Elder Futhark and the Younger Futhark. Because or the more rich Elder Futhark used for writing early Norse, consisting of 24 runes we have decided to work with that in this setting. The earliest known sequential listing of the full set of 24 runes dates to approximately AD 400 and is found on the Kylver Stone in Gotland, Sweden.
IMPORTANT: Runes are sound letters not exactly or easily translated into the Latin alphabet. Do not take our translation to seriously or as fact.
